  • Foxwing Awning fitted!

    Hi guys,
As you know the rear tailgate opening up so high is an issue to fit a Foxwing awning.

I really wanted to fit one so I've come up with a solution!

In road use the awning is lying down flat on the roof rack, it folds up on stainless steel brackets high enough to clear the rear tailgate and spoiler and locks into place.

The closed height when fitted the a Rhino Rack platform is 2080mm.

    Cheers Rich

That’s pretty cool mate I like them awnings to but because of the tail gate I went with the normal awning

These are the brackets I used:
          https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2Pcs-Sta...72.m2749.l2649

Or if you want something that it's easier to fit to:
          https://www.whitworths.com.au/stainl...-table-bracket

The rack is up in the garage ceiling at the moment so I can't supply more photo's for a while.

I'll detail how I attached everything latter

The brackets are available from either a ship chandler or on eBay.
They are S/Steel drop down table brackets.
I tried posting links but looks like they are not allowed sorry.
The rack is currently hoisted up in my garage ceiling so I can’t supply more photos at the moment.
Will do in a couple of weeks.
