  • Sat Nav Wiring

I have my sat nav unit attached to the windscreen just above the clock. Currently the cable simply trails from the 12v outlet up to the unit. The excess is hidden away in the upper glove box, but it's not a very neat solution. Without pulling half the dash/trim apart, is there an easy way to route the cable up and behind the dash to secure and conceal the wires?

yes , sort of., depending on how much cable you have. Its quite easy to remove the left side A pillar trim ( remove the handle , then trim unclips ) then run the cable under the dash , behind the glovebox and under the centre console to plug it back into the ciggy lighter.

Thanks for the advice. So after you remove the handle, the A-pillar trim unclips easily? I think I can manage that. Original cable is not long enough, but I may have an alternative.
