Auto door lock activation

Hi All

I have heard that there is some for of sequence that can be completed which will activate auto door locking on the Fortuner.

Does anyone know what this may be? I cant find anything about it in the user manual...

I read in the manual that if the doors are unlocked but not opened within a set time (maybe 30secs) the doors will automatically lock again. Is that what you mean?

I think he is referring to when the doors lock , above 20kph. There is a VSS wire coming out of the speedo but is used for disabling the GPS inputs when moving. With some modding maybe it can be used to lock the doors.

Thanks guys. I was referring to the vehicle auto locking above certain speed. The Indian models do contain this feature, it appears we missed out.

Surely in this day and age the dealer can program your truck for that? I would assume so.
