  • Tyre Trek towbar mount spare & jerrys

Hey Guys, anyone tried or used on their Tuna?

Looks good. Have not used or seen before but interested also.

the website says "Australian designed and manufactured Recovery point Fully engineered to Australian standards."

I can not see the recovery point in the photos but this is important. would need to recover from it as it takes up my current rear recovery point being the rear hitch.

You could look a dual rear bumper bar set up from Opposite Loc, Kaymar or ARB etc, where you can put jerry cans, & it still gives you a tow bar set. Or a single set up for 1 jerry can.

I'm not sure & haven't looked into it, but with the Tyre Trek or a dual jerry can / spare tyre rear bar, would the reverse camera need to be relocated? A single arm set up on the right hand corner would leave the rear camera as is.

Yeah would assume permanent rear bumper setup def better in all respects

but do the swinging arms to carry gear etc come off easily? As in do they need to stay on the car for day to day use? Door access the issue as well as bulk.
