Fortuner turbo boost

Hi blokes. Does anyone have information on the turbo boost on these things. The most I have seen on mine is about 11 to 12 psi. Is this normal or not as it seems a bit low for an engine with the output this thing is supposed to have.

I'm also seeing ~12psi give or take 1psi if it's cold outside. I'm using a OBD2 reader, I haven't tapped into a boost line.

So am I dandin. the reading would be the map pressure reading minus the atmospheric pressure which would be about as accurate as you can get I guess. In fact I have to subtract atmospheric from the map myself as the scan tool doesn't show boost .

Not sure about my fortuner, i'll plug in my OBDII dongle and load up a couple of my apps, that being said on my Diesel territory 2.7L V6 i was hitting 18PSI (it had a 3 inch exhaust system on it and a K&N filter) i'll let you guys know about mine a bit later
