  • Rear King Springs

Finally organised to fit my rear suspension airbags.
Has anyone replaced the standard rear springs with standard height King Springs Progressive Rate
If so how is the ride set-up.

Rear King Springs have settled in nicely.
Vehicle is more compliant to varying road conditions being not so jittery to chopped up surfaces. Rear end is 15mm. higher but time will tell. Temporarily loaded up with 150kg of gear and ride was still an improvement over standard.
Normally around home car is unloaded, all rear seats were removed basically from day one with bits of gear under sub floor and 2/130amp/hr.
      AGM batteries behind front seats.
The airbags even at minimum recommended 5/6 psi stiffen up ride slightly.
      Sourced springs through Supercheap $169.
All in all a big improvement.
Will see how things go hopefully later this years trip to Flinders Ranges.
      Gordon.

Nice to hear mate, good setup option without really jacking it up.
    Working...
