Picked up new GXL auto a couple of weeks ago.
Will be going into ARB for some work next week. Dual battery, smart bar, snorkel, towbar, extra power outlet, Redarc TowPro, airbags, dual anderson plugs for van fridge and ESC. Also Rhino backbone and pioneer platform to carry extra spare and maxtrax etc. Also rooftop tent for shorter trips.
I'll put up another photo after it gets back from ARB.
Towing a 2 tonne single axle off road van.
Very impressed so far, even though had originally ordered manual GX which could not be delivered in time. It should be at Launceston Toyota in a week or so if anyone is looking.
I'm chasing and extra rim, preferably alloy, for the extra spare.

One very important bit of gear if towing a two tonne van is a external auto transcooler from wholesale Automatics.

Would love to see it once kitted out, I have a silver GXL on order, still deciding on which bullbar to get.
Sounds like a great trip being planned
