  • Greetings from Thailand.

    G'day All,

I'm in eastern Thailand (yep, Sin City) and the Fortuner is made just up the road from me at Amata Nakhorn.

My truck is a late 2014 variant and, supposedly, the top of the range at that time.

But this is Thailand, so I have a problem that most of you blokes probably don't and that is that I need some more power outlets of the USB variety and can't find any.

I have 2 cigarette-lighter ports and several blanked holes in between them, a red I/O switch, that doesn't seem to have a purpose that I can find and another press-switch with a skid logo on it. Neither of these last two are covered in the local version of the manual.

Anyway, the main thing is to get some more USB in the front and some on the passenger area, so any suggestions and/or pointers are much appreciated.

    TIA.

The simplest solution would be to get two cigarette lighter to USB adapters and plug them into your two cigarette lighter ports.

    Something like this: https://www.jaycar.com.au/4-8a-dual-...aptor/p/MP3667

How about hard wiring a USB port, like this

Or if you want something you can mount on the blank switches

        Thanks Guys!

I much prefer the mounting to fit the blank switches, if at all possible.

Do you happen to know if they are an automotive standard, or are they a proprietary Toyota size/fit?

the hole size is specific to Toyota , and there are 2 different sizes . one is up to 2015 and the other 2015+ , Landcruiser , Hilux , Prado etc
          2016 GX , in White
