ID:	838 Purchased a Fortuner GX in December 15, had Toyota fit the tow bar, Piranha fit the dual battery setup with extra outlets in the rear, and Anderson plug at the tow bar, changed the trailer plug to 12 pin for a caravan, fitted a Redarc Towpro Elite brake controller.
I want to fit a UHF radio, bull bar and driving lights at some stage soon.
I have done one trip to Queensland and have 7500klm on the clock so far.

Nice setup you got there, John👍👍

Are you using Piranha isolator or Redarc? Where mounted?

Keep us updated on the bullbar & driving light setup

The Isolator is a Piranha, DBE140S, the battery is ACDelco HCM27SMF, 97AH. All working great, most days I check the battery voltage to see how it is, has never gone below 60% going by the chart Piranha have. The isolator is on a bracket beside the battery, will post another photo. Click image for larger version

Hi John, looks great, I'll be posting some UHF install pics tonight and tomorrow. How much did the dual battery set up cost?

Really nice! I just picked up a 2015 GXL, not very many kicking around QLD. Dual battery project is not far away. What did Piranha charge? and more of a general question, if I had the second battery and isolator am I able to utilize the 12V in the rear without running any wiring?
